Documentary
Documentary photography is a general term that encompasses very different uses of photography. These range from technical applications to photography with a specific purpose in mind, such as photojournalism or reportage photography, to artistic photography that sees itself as documentary.
Despite its declared objective aim, documentary photography also implies a personal commitment on the part of the photographer. He shows what he sees on location with his camera, takes the viewer with him and depicts everyday impressions that might not have any significance in artistic photography.
Documentary photography focuses on both everyday events and special occasions, which in turn is what makes it so appealing. Many moments and situations deserve to be captured in documentary photography.
Company events. The Company life itself. Family life. The birth. The wedding. City and country life. Birthdays. Confirmations. Whatever the occasion, the aim is always to capture the big and small moments as candidly as possible.
